Located in Rua João de Oliveira Miguens, just a few minutes of walking from the Alcântara-Terra train station, the main legacy of the building is an industrial past revealed by its wide spaces, high ceilings, historical structural elements in sight and by the regular metric of the large spans oriented to the west.

Recent architectural interventions will have altered the original configuration of the space, giving it greater special complexity, while preserving an enormous functional potential. From the original construction, the main elements to preserve are the spans and the structure, mainly the two large pillars that mark the free plan.

The architectural project developed sought to adapt the space to new functional needs, creating work spaces with different characteristics – open space, private offices and meeting room –, supported by a set of other functional areas such as reception, waiting room, staff lounge and kitchen.

The choice of new materials that guarantee greater comfort and innovation in the transformation of this industrial space, and linearity and spatial minimalist were the basic premises of this intervention.
